Did you know Busch Wildlife Sanctuary is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and conservation of wild animals and natural environments? Although we do not charge for our services, we are not a government-funded agency. The Sanctuary is funded entirely by donations. All of our support comes from caring individuals such as yourself.
We accept patients 365 days a year and treat almost 5,000 sick, injured, and orphaned wild animal patients each year. Our goal is to return recovered animals to their wild habitats. The Sanctuary treats all sorts of cases including collisions with automobiles, fishing line entanglement, illegal gun shots, electrocutions, poisonings, attacks by dogs and cats, and many more. It is very costly to provide the professional care needed to treat injured wildlife. Our costs may exceed more than $100 for each animal we accept to rehabilitate. Please continue your interest in maintaining a healthy wildlife-filled environment by sending in a contribution. Every little bit helps in caring for our patients.
In addition to our wildlife rehabilitation services, the Sanctuary actively teaches the community about Florida’s natural environments and wildlife. Last year alone, over 100,000 children and adults participated in our environmental education programs, exhibits, nature tours, television shows, or came to visit our wildlife sanctuary.
Again, thank you for caring enough to get involved. Your tax-deductible donation will be used to give injured wild animals a second chance, and allow our rehabilitation and education efforts to continue to grow. We hope you will join your friends and neighbors in supporting the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary's conservation efforts.
